Nancy O'Dell's career began in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news with WPDE-TV. O'Dell later became an anchor for morning news on WCBD TV and also as an investigative reporter. O'Dell's stories in Charleston concerning the lack of leniency by police regarding DUI cases, prompted the State Law Enforcement Division to investigate. This led to states authorities enforcing more rigorous regulations in these cases. Ms. O'Dell won her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell has worked working in Charleston working as a journalist and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring into Access Hollywood where she is an anchor and reporter during weekends.
